After World War II, de Havilland Canada was looking to produce a plane suited to operations in the extremes of the Canadian north. The result was the Beaver, regarded as one of the best bush planes ever built. We also have a de Havilland Canada DHC-3 Otter. This plane was originally known as the King Beaver due to the fact it was based on the same principles as the Beaver but larger in size. This is one of 26 planes in the world that has been retro fitted with a 1000hp Garret Turbine engine to increase performance and range.

Regal Air - A privately run company that has been in business since 1982. We are located on the shore of Lake Hood in Anchorage , Alaska . Reliance Airways - Reliance Airways operates air charter services on floats, wheels and skis from bases in Fort Smith, NWT and Edmonton Alberta. Following in his father Glen’s footsteps, Dan has always been interested in tourism and aviation. He started working at Andrew Lake Lodge as a young boy guiding fishermen and hunters. From guiding experience he began managing the lodges and learned about the air charter business.

Renew Air Taxi - Renew Air Taxi operates mainly in Southwest Alaska from May to October and from Fairbanks, Alaska the remainder of the year.  We are also available for contract or charter service anywhere in Alaska. We fly the Dehavilland Otter, (9 passenger, 2900 lb useful load)  on amphibious floats, wheels or skis. Whether you have a group or just two of  you, our prices are very reasonable per person.
