The result was the Beaver, regarded as one of the best bush planes ever built. We also have a de Havilland Canada DHC-3 Otter. This plane was originally known as the King Beaver due to the fact it was based on the same principles as the Beaver but larger in size. This is one of 26 planes in the world that has been retro fitted with a 1000hp Garret Turbine engine to increase performance and range.

  • Reliance Airways - Reliance Airways operates air charter services on floats, wheels and skis from bases in Fort Smith, NWT and Edmonton Alberta. Following in his father Glen’s footsteps, Dan has always been interested in tourism and aviation. He started working at Andrew Lake Lodge as a young boy guiding fishermen and hunters. From guiding experience he began managing the lodges and learned about the air charter business.
