Founded in 1985 by Tom and Linda Baxter, Baxter Air began with a single Cessna 185.  Shortly after, the Baxter's applied for and received a class 3 scheduled license to provide service between downtown Vancouver and downtown Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. Today, using 9 DeHavilland Beavers, Baxter Aviation operates 24 scheduled flights daily between downtown Vancouver and downtown Nanaimo.

  • Beriev Aircraft Company - The history of BERIEV Aircraft company traces back to October 1, 1934. This date is considered as the starting point for Taganrog Central Design Bureau of Seaplane Manufacturing organized at the facilities of Aircraft Plant №31. The engineer Georgy M. Beriev became the Chief Designer of the Bureau. At that time, the Design Bureau was mainly engaged in seaplane construction.

  • Big Foot Air - Bigfoot Air operates in Alaska and in northern California, Nevada and Oregon.   • Bob Cusack Alaska - Our family operated facilities are tucked away in the remote wilderness of Iliamna Lake. Tucked soundly between Lake Clark National Park and Katmai National Monument, our modern lodge was designed for comfort, camaraderie, and safety in a sometimes rugged Alaska. This unique two-story log lodge is self-contained and well furnished to accommodate eight guests and a full service staff. Super Cub and a Cessna 185 on floats.

  • Boeing Seaplane - The B & W was the first Boeing product, named after the initials of its designers, William Boeing and Navy Lt. Conrad Westervelt. The first B & W, completed in June 1916, was made of wood, linen and wire. Similar to the Martin trainer that Boeing owned, the B & W had, among other improvements, better pontoons and a more powerful engine. The two B & Ws were offered to the U.S. Navy. When the Navy did not buy them, they were sold to the New Zealand Flying School and became the company's first international sale. The B & Ws later were used for New Zealand express and airmail deliveries, set a New Zealand altitude record of 6,500 feet on June 25, 1919, and made that country's first official airmail flight on Dec. 16, 1919.

  • Bristol Bay Lodge - Guided fishing and waterfowl hunting at a lodge 350 miles southwest of Anchorage. Includes news, prices, photos, and fishing seasons. Much of Alaska’s best fishing water is accessible only by floatplane. Bristol Bay Lodge flies guests to their fishing destination in legendary DeHavilland Beaver floatplanes. These airplanes are comfortable and reliable, earning the nickname “workhorses of the North.” Each aircraft is in excellent condition and all are well maintained throughout the entire season.
